1970 Dodge Charger R/T w/Spoiler

This year the standard Charger R/T came with a 440 cid 4-bbl 375 hp engine code U. See the pictures. The options included a 440 cid 3 2-bbl carbs 390 engine code V an d Hemi 426 with 2 4-bbls 425 hp VIN code J. The side door scoops were a bolt on option. The engine (VIN) code is the 5th digit in serial number. Visible through windshield or located to the rear of the right engine mount on the oil pan rail.
